Best practice carriage driving is very important as it assures other carriage drivers that you are as capable and safe as them on the highway.

The British Driving Society have an accredited and recognised QFC qualification system that all BDS members are entitled to undedrtakeg for a fee. Dyfed Carriage Club aknowledges and duly respects this syllabus and to help it's own members runs a monthly 'Drivesafe' training programme. This is an informal discussion group who meet socially in the Whitemill Inn and study the syllabus set down by the BDS. This helps train newcomers in the standards expected when out driving in company and safely on the highway.
