The Dyfed Carriage Club is one of the leading carriage driving groups in the United Kingdom with a popular reputation for being a proactive, informative, friendly and welcoming society. The club welcomes members of all abilities from all around the region with interests in ALL aspects of driving from Shetlands to Shires, including young, old, able bodied, disabled and you don’t even have to own a turnout (horse and carriage), although your enthusiasm and interests are most welcomed. The club meets the first monday in the month, every month throughout the year at the Whitemill Inn, Nantgaredig Near Carmarthen

We normally have a guest speaker every month and this is a great way to socialise with other club members, get to know all about the club where we discuss past, present and upcoming issues. Newcomers are always welcome. Raffle prize draw and prizes welcome.

The club meets the first Friday in the month, every month throughout the year at the Indoor Arena, Coleg Sir Gar, Pibwrlwyd, Carmarthen.This is a great way to start and improve your or your horse's carriage driving in a safe, relaxed and controlled environment with other like minded enthusiasts. Its great fun and newcomers are always welcome.

There is a nominal charge and advance booking is required

"Spring into Action" with Dyfed Carriage Club on Sunday 30th April, Coleg Sir Gar Equine Arena. Come along and explore the wonderful world of carriage driving. Perfect for newcomers, novices and the experienced, discover how to get started, how to follow up and enjoy the best out of your equine. Open to all including optional individual study sessions with our qualified UKCC carriage Driving Coach Emily Ham, enjoy the handy pony course for both long reining and driven and a fun driven cones competition. Special Spring offer of only £10 for a equine turnout or £5 each for spectators. From 9.30am to 4.30pm. Please message me if you would like to book a place.

Harness Horse Blessing

Picton Castle, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire

The club hosts its annual Harness Horse blessing in the grounds of the fabulous Picton Castle in Pembrokeshire. This is a traditional blessing followed by an optional individual road drive around a quiet country lanes  of 2, 4 or 6 miles. Please contact us if you wish to attend. Nominal entrance charge for spectators intop the castle gardens and estate.
